I always wonder what things of this nature were like if you were actually there. Paintings and images that reach far enough back in time get faded and muted in their detail and color vibrancy. The thing to remember is that if you were there, the colors and clarity would be just as clear as your reality is now. Also, the language may be changed in subtle ways, and in some cases, significant ways.
